We provide diagnosis and treatment of multiple eye problems like eye infections, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, neuro-ophthalmologic disorders and more. Minor surgical procedures and some laser treatments can be performed in the office. We also provide eye examinations for glasses. Please be aware we do not write contact lens prescriptions.

We perform small incision cataract surgery with use of astigmatism correcting lenses and multifocal lenses. We can customize the procedure to your eye specifications with the use of our laser cataract technology. You can find more information in the cataracts section of our website.

Neuro-ophthalmology focuses on diseases of the nervous system that affect vision, control of eye movements or pupillary reflexes. Blurred vision, loss of peripheral vision, double vision, abnormal optic nerves are some examples of neuro-ophthalmologic problems referred for an evaluation. A detailed history is essential. Additional tests including CT, MRI, lab work and consultation with other specialists is frequently required.

 

During your initial visit you will have a complete eye exam. Dilation of the pupils is usually performed. Additional tests or procedures can also be done if necessary. The doctor will discuss the result of your examination with you and make recommendations for treatment. We will keep your primary care physician and referring optometrist informed about the results of your eye exam.
